Sara is an associate in the firm’s Family Law Department. Sarah brings her prior experience in family, immigration and landlord-tenant law. Ms. Estacio Yip's devotion to provide her clients with assistance to navigate through critical times in their lives has led to finding her passion in family law.
Prior to joining Flicker, Kerin, Kruger & Bissada LLP, Ms. Estacio Yip served as a judicial extern for Honorable Richard C. Darwin and Honorable Michael I. Begert at the Unified Family Court in San Francisco. Ms. Estacio Yip honed her skills in advocacy through the perspective of the judiciary and assisted in cases involving divorce, child custody and child support, spousal support and arrearages and domestic violence issues.
Ms. Estacio Yip earned her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law in July 2020. Ms. Estacio Yip completed law school with honors, ranking in the top 10% of her class, which lead to her acceptance and completion of the Honors Lawyering Program. Ms. Estacio Yip's dedication to the law was reaffirmed through merit by receiving a Witkin Award in Criminal Procedure as well as consistent acknowledgments on the Dean’s List. Ms. Estacio Yip received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, graduating magna cum laude from San Francisco State University.
Ms. Estacio Yip keeps busy with her husband and their three young sons. She enjoys participating in work out competitions with her friends.
