Lauren M. Coleman is an Associate in the firm’s Family Law Department. She handles a diverse range of issues related to dissolution and legal separation actions, including high-asset property characterization and division, child custody, child support, support, spousal support, and post-judgment modifications. She is a member of the State Bar of California and Alameda County Bar Association.

Ms. Coleman received her Juris Doctor degree from UC Hastings College of the Law where she served as an Executive Supervising Editor for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, a Board Member for the National Moot Court Appellate Advocacy Team, and a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing department. She remains an active member of the UC Hastings community as a coach for the Moot Court team and a bar mentor. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Coleman spent several years litigating worker’s compensation matters throughout the Bay Area.

Ms. Coleman has a B.A. in Psychology from UC San Diego with minors in Law and Society and Japanese Studies. When she is not working, she enjoys yoga, hiking, and reading good books.
