Zelikha Dost focuses her legal practice on family law, including divorce,
custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, complex property
division, post marital agreements, and domestic violence restraining orders.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Dost was a teacher with the San Mateo
and Sequoia Union High School Districts. After this teaching experience,
Ms. Dost decided to take her career in a new direction. Although she found
teaching to be rewarding, she decided to pursue law so she could further
impact the lives of families through additional avenues.
Ms. Dost is licensed to practice law in California and is a member of the
Santa Clara County Bar Association, the San Mateo County Bar Association,
and the California Young Lawyers Association. Ms. Dost received the Witkin
and CALI Award in Community Property, as well as a CALI Award in Family
Law. She was also a member of the Honors Lawyering Program in law school.
Prior to joining Flicker, Kerin, Kruger & Bissada LLP, Ms. Dost earned
a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of California, Davis.
She earned a Master’s Degree in Education and a Teaching Credential
from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In the fall of 2013, she
clerked for Hon. Michael I. Begert at the Unified Family Court in San
Francisco. Ms. Dost received her Juris Doctorate with Honors and a Family
Law Specialization Certificate from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2015.
As a law student, Ms. Dost served as an intern with the Homeless Advocacy
Project. In her free time, she participates in a local swim team.
