Rolf Kruger is a leading legal specialist in family and divorce law. Mr.
Kruger is certified by the State Bar of California as a legal specialist
in the field of family and divorce law, since 2004.
Mr. Kruger brings tenacity and compassion to litigation and mediation of
complex divorce financial matters and custody disputes. Mr. Kruger strategizes
and guides clients through an array of matters, from high asset dissolutions
to custody and visitation agreements. Mr. Kruger's comprehensive knowledge
includes business valuation, stock option and deferred compensation issues,
complex property issues, high-earner child and spouse support, parentage
and custody actions, creation of pre-nuptial agreements, breaches of fiduciary
duties, and other complex family issues.
Mr. Kruger's extensive background in family law and years of successful
experience allow him to assist clients in analyzing their options and
opportunities, as well as recognizing their risks and vulnerabilities.

that have led to his continued prosperous representation of venture capitalists,
CEOs and other executives of domestic and international companies, business
owners and their respective spouses.
Mr. Kruger is a member of the State Bar of California, as well as the Santa
Clara County, San Mateo County and Palo Alto Area Bar Associations. Prior
to joining the bar in California in 1995, he practiced in Oregon, an equitable
distribution state. Mr. Kruger also serves regularly as a judge pro tem
for the Santa Clara County Superior Court in divorce and family law matters.
This position enables Mr. Kruger to better act as an effective and empathetic
attorney in his law practice and when acting as a divorce mediator for parties.
Mr. Kruger has been named a family law Super Lawyer™ for the past
six years, a distinction reserved for the top 5% of attorneys in Northern
California. In 2014, Super Lawyers™ ranked Mr. Kruger in the elite
Top 100 attorneys over all practice areas in Northern California. For
the past several years, Mr. Kruger was appointed by the Board of Governors
for the California State Bar to be a commission for the Family Law Advisory
Commission for all certified family/divorce law specialists in California.
In 2012-2013, Mr. Kruger was the vice-chair of the commission, and in
2013 the Board of Governors for the state bar appointed Mr. Kruger as
the Chair for the Family Law Advisor Commission.

Born and raised in San Mateo County, Mr. Kruger fills his spare time with
family, boating, and traveling.

Mr. Kruger is a graduate of Willamette University College of Law in Salem,
Oregon with a three-year Trustee Scholarship. He earned his J.D. in 1994,
as well as a Certificate in Dispute Resolution. The Willamette University
Center for Dispute Resolution at the College of Law has been rated as
one of the top five dispute resolution programs in the country by U.S.
News and World Report. While attending Willamette University College of
Law, Mr. Kruger was the President of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.
Mr. Kruger received his Bachelor of Science in finance in commerce from
Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business in 1991. While
attending SCU, he was honored by the international business honor society,
Beta Gamma Sigma, and chaired the Theta Chi Fraternity Alumni Committee.
