Erin J. McCormick is an associate in the firm's Family Law Department.
Ms. McCormick's dedication and determination drives her practice to
cover a broad range of issues, including: dissolution, property characterization
and division, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support,
and complex, high-asset matters. She is a member of the State Bar of California,
as well as the San Mateo County Bar Association and Santa Clara County
Ms. McCormick received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California,
Hastings College of the Law in May 2013. While in law school, she worked
as an intern for the Honorable Monica F. Wiley in the family law division
of the San Francisco Superior Court. She also served as an editor for
the Hastings Women's Law Journal and, in 2013, published an article
on strengthening California's HIV Transmission statute.
Before entering the legal field, Ms. McCormick spent seven years as an
employee relations specialist at the University of California, San Diego
handling complex employee performance and labor relations issues. Prior
to joining Flicker, Kerin, Kruger & Bissada LLP as an associate, Ms.
McCormick worked as a law clerk at a family law practice in San Francisco
and was a volunteer at Bay Area Legal Aid's Domestic Violence Restraining
Order Clinic assisting victims of domestic violence in obtaining restraining
orders. Ms. McCormick continues to volunteer her time by handling pro
bono cases through the Legal Aid Society's Domestic Violence Collaborative.
Ms. McCormick earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and
Human Resources from the University of Idaho in 2004. In her free time,
she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exploring new restaurants,
